About

About MeldAmp

Album art stays front and center, and the interface adapts to match the artwork.

MeldAmp is a desktop music manager for your local offline library. Your files stay on your machine—no streaming service required—with a modern interface and real tools for browsing, organizing, and listening. Supported formats include FLAC, MP3, M4A, Opus, OGG, and WAV.

Why MeldAmp?

For people who want local music with room to grow.

If you like a real desktop app and a library you own—not a feed inside a browser—MeldAmp is built for that habit. The interface is modern and uncluttered, closer to today's capable local music apps than to old skinnable players, with the tools you need to manage and enjoy files on disk. No subscriptions, no algorithms, no cloud playback: just offline listening and a layout built around your collection.

What you can do

The app is designed for larger screens: library, playback, now-playing, and equalizer can share the same view comfortably. Highlights include:

  • Playlist manager — simple default view with advanced options for search, multiple source folders, custom playlists, grouping, duplicates, and format filters.
  • Themes — personalize the look; optionally sync the theme to the album art of the track that is playing.
  • 10-band equalizer with preamp and quick reset.
  • Tag manager — edit artist, album, and track metadata from one place.
  • Discover Music — in-app links to browse artists and releases (for building a library you still own and play offline).
